Award-Winning Environmental Branding for Design and Tech Firm
IBI Group’s 2019 Annual General Meeting was designed to reflect the company’s evolving vision as a technology-driven urban solutions firm. Alongside the launch of a new strategic plan, the Toronto headquarters was transformed into an immersive showcase of emerging technologies, interactive experiences and environmental branding. We developed large-scale environmental graphics and motion content that brought the event’s forward-looking theme to life. The final visual system combined IBI’s recognizable dotted world map with a halftone image of a woman wearing a VR headset, symbolizing the company’s global presence and technology-focused future. We collaborated with a third-party signage partner to oversee production specifications and installation, helping transform the headquarters lobby into a cohesive branded experience. The project went on to win the “Branding/Large Format Innovation” Award at the 2019 Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) In-House Design Awards for the “A Smarter Urban Future” campaign, recognizing the work’s innovative use of environmental design, branding and experiential storytelling.
